MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Police in Montgomery County said they arrested a man for killing his 19-year-old roommate in Silver Spring last month.
Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) responded to the 9300 block of Piney Branch Road shortly before 2:40 p.m. on Oct. 22.
They found 19-year-old Diego Edilberto Borja-Cardona in the bushes behind a bus stop. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined his manner of death was homicide.
Detectives said they identified Borja-Cardona’s roommate 26-year-old Abraham Luna Perez as the suspect. They arrested him on Nov. 1 and charged him with first-degree murder.
He is being held without bond.
