(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Schools and businesses across Southern Colorado have announced closures as a result of the winter weather impacting the state.
Overnight of Wednesday, Nov. 6 multiple businesses, schools, churches, local government offices, and military installations announced closures as a result of the snow that has fallen across Colorado.
Fort Carson Military Post announced it would be closed to all but mission essential personnel on Wednesday and the School Age Programs & Youth Center will be closed as well.
Roads appear to be snow-covered across Colorado Springs but the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) snow plows have managed to clear some roads.
