Amazon Expands Grocery Delivery Service in California with Addition of Popular Discount Supermarket

Starting today, residents in Bakersfield, Hayward, Sacramento, San Jose, and Turlock can place grocery orders through Amazon’s FoodMaxx site. To celebrate the launch, Prime members will receive free delivery on their first three orders of $20 or more.

Additionally, Amazon is expanding its grocery delivery partnerships with Save Mart to include three more locations in Auburn, Bakersfield, and Chico, as well as Lucky Supermarkets, which will now serve Foster City, Hollister, Napa, and Oakley.

Prime members can also opt for a grocery delivery subscription for further savings. Tamara Pattison, Chief Digital Officer at The Save Mart Companies, highlighted the expansion as a commitment to quality and convenience for shoppers.
