A beloved holiday event in the City of Owensboro has apparently come to its close. Yesterday, city officials shared the news that Holiday in the Park, which has resided at Legion Park in the middle of town for decades, is no longer. This statement was shared on the City of Owensboro’s official Facebook page- “As we transition away from the beloved Holiday in the Park (Legion Park) after many wonderful years, the City of Owensboro will elevate its holiday offerings with an expanded display and festivities for Hometown Christmas.”
