Now, some forecasts show the possibility of more snow on the way soon.
Due to the rough driving conditions on Interstate 25 on Wednesday, the Colorado Department of Transportation posted warnings on its highway signs that stated the commercial motor vehicles would need chains. There were also warnings that said ice and snow were packed onto I-25 creating dangerous driving conditions.
“Just a little bit. Just on this off-road in the back there. I noticed when I got on the main road I wasn’t slipping as much,” Castle Rock resident, R.J. Harvey, said after his car slid on the road.
