GREENVILLE, S.C. — Belmont Abbey’s Lance Owens has been named Conference Carolinas Men’s Bowler of the Week, the league office announced today. He is the third different Crusader to win the award in as many weeks. Owens, a sophomore from New Bern, N.C., was the top finisher (ninth) from the conference at the Bowlero Southern Classic. He averaged 220.3 pins over six games with a 1,322 total. He posted five games over 200 with a high game of 255. As a team, Belmont Abbey finished 11th overall.
