It was a good day for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. This is after the Dubs secured a huge statement win against the defending champions Boston Celtics at the TD Garden, 118-112.
The Warriors entered this game on a four-game winning streak and they had no intention of seeing this come to an end in Boston. The Celtics, on the other hand, suffered their first loss in four games and just their second this season.
For his part, Curry went off in this one to lead Golden State to victory. The former back-to-back NBA MVP scored a team-high 27 points on 8-of-17 shooting, to go along with seven boards, nine assists, four steals, a block and four triples in 34 minutes of action.
As Curry headed to the locker room shortly after the win, the Warriors point guard dropped a cold two-word reaction upon taking down the Celtics on their own home floor.
“Always good,” Curry responded when asked if it felt good to win in Boston.
