Students in the Corry School District are the benefactors of this week’s Loving Giving Local donation from Auto Express.
The Corry Area School District Foundation is the non-profit of the week.
Their mission is to prepare students to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens in a competitive global society.
The foundation is focused on enhancing student education and activities. District business manager Brenda Clabbatz said it’s all about the kids.

“We fund some scholarships through our foundation. People from the community or past graduates have established scholarships. Also for people who have passed in our community people might want to provide a scholarship in memory of them. People send in money for different projects that we might have ongoing or items kids need — it’s all about the kids,” Clabbatz said.
In addition to scholarships, the foundation also helps provide some much-needed equipment and supplies, like at the Corry Career and Technical Center.
