Video: Phoenix police kill man after prolonged struggle in store aisle

On the night of Oct. 20, two Phoenix police officers arrived at a Dollar Tree in west Phoenix to trespass 31-year-old Essex Jackson, who reportedly was intoxicated and carrying a large sheathed knife. After a prolonged struggle to subdue Jackson – and after Jackson gained control of one of the officer’s Tasers – officer Ryan Small pulled out his pistol, fired six times and killed Jackson.
