HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A student at Dawson Springs middle school made a threat towards the school according to school officials.
The school district took to Facebook to announce the threat. The post says the school was made aware of a threat made while students were leaving school Wednesday. The post goes on to say a middle school student made the threat.
The schools SRO as well as other officials investigated the incident and found the student responsible for the threats. Officials say the student admitted to making the threat, but claimed it was just a joke.
The post says that Dawson Springs Schools will not tolerate threats of any kind. The post also says that the student making the threats will not be in school “for a while.”
