KINGSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — One person is in the hospital after being hit by a car on the University of Rhode Island campus.
A spokesperson said it happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Lower College Road and Campus Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
It’s unclear what led up to the crash.
