Madison Public Library hours will not change next year, but property taxes will

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The City of Madison referendum was passed at midnight Wednesday, with over 57% of voters in favor of increasing the city’s levy limit to avoid cutting city services budgets. The Madison Public Library was one of the departments that would have faced budget cuts, but the passed referendum means all services and library hours will remain the same for all nine locations.
