Abbey Pascoe elected mayor of Waverly

WAVERLY, Neb. (KOLN) – City Council President Abbey Pascoe has been elected as Waverly’s new mayor, succeeding Mayor Bill Gerdes, who did not seek reelection. Pascoe, who ran unopposed, currently represents Ward 2 on the city council and serves as the public health liaison for fire and safety. She expressed gratitude for the community’s support and outlined her vision for the city’s future.
