EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — The City of El Paso’s Animal Services Department is hosting its fourth drive-thru pet wellness clinic of the year this Sunday, Nov. 10, the City said in a press release.
The City says the pet wellness clinic is free and will be from 8 a.m. through 10 a.m. this Sunday, Nov. 10, at 6500 Bonanza Street.
The clinic will operate on a first come first serve basis and is limited to the first 500 pets. Those who would like to attend should keep their pets inside their vehicles throughout the drive-thru clinic. Dogs must be secured on a leash, and cats must be secured in a carrier, according to the City.
All pets will be microchipped at the clinic as it’s required by El Paso City ordinances. Dogs will receive a parvo/distemper vaccination and cats will receive a feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia (FVRCP) vaccination. Rabies vaccines will not be available at this event, the City said.
Pets aged six weeks or older are eligible for vaccines.
