DEDHAM, Mass. – Massachusetts Judge Beverly Cannone was replaced this week in one high-profile murder case and given a “special assignment” to oversee another. Cannone, a judge of the Norfolk County Superior Court, was previously the judge assigned to oversee the cases of both Karen Read and Brian Walshe. Court records show she was assigned Wednesday to the Read case while another judge was assigned to the Walshe case.
