For years, there have been rumors and reports that Evansville would be getting a Bojangles, but nearing the end of 2024, no such restaurant has surfaced. Having lived in both Tennessee and Kentucky, I can attest to the popularity of the famous Cajun-seasoned fried chicken chain. In fact, while I was loading the final items into my U-Haul during my move out of the Volunteer State, the last place I ate at was, in fact, Bojangles. I’m a huge fan of not only the chain’s standard fried chicken pieces but also their signature biscuits, like the Cajun Chicken Filet Biscuit. I’d love to see the Bojangles set up shop close to home.
