CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died following a single-vehicle accident on Thursday morning near the intersection of Bruce Road and Peppercorn Drive.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Chesapeake police officers responded to a report of the accident.
Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle had veered off the road and struck a tree. The occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
The incident remains under investigation.
