Bar & lounge in Dauphin County closes down

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Last week, a local lounge and bar that had relocated to the Colonial Park Mall last year officially closed its doors.

abc27 news reported back in November 2023 when the Fyre Lounge & Bar first opened the doors to its new location at the Colonial Park Mall , on 4600 Jonestown Road in suite 89, which was previously home to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Fyre Lounge & Bar is owned and operated by Surjeet “Rick” Collotia, along with four other unnamed partners.

Rick previously told abc27 news that the new lounge and bar is approximately 6,600 square feet and was able to accommodate about 175 guests at a time.

Over the past year, Fyre Lounge & Bar has become known as an entertainment hangout spot that offers an Indian-American fusion food menu with Nepali influence.

Earlier today, Rick confirmed with abc27 news that he decided to close down the Fyre Lounge & Bar last week and is currently in talks with several potential buyers interested in purchasing the lease for the space.
