For those who find it easier to let a professional do some or all of the cooking on Thanksgiving, you’re in luck: Several local restaurants and food businesses are offering in-person dining and take-home meal options for the holiday.

This year, Great Dane is keeping its doors open on Thanksgiving Day at each of its four Madison locations. In downtown and East Madison, the beloved establishment will offer a limited menu for the holiday, but adds a classic, plated-turkey special to the lineup. At its Great Dane’s Fitchburg and Hilldale locations, patrons can expect a buffet until 5 p.m., when the restaurant will switch to the limited menu and special. Nov. 28, 11 a.m.–10 p.m., 123 E. Liberty Station American Tavern & Smokehouse
For $50 per person, enjoy a three-course meal at Liberty Station. Options for appetizers include salads and soups. Choose between a traditional turkey dinner, baja sea bass or the turkey brisket and Carolina pork shoulder for your entree. End the meal with apple pie, pumpkin pie or chocolate cake.
