Husband Charged in Suzanne Simpson Murder

Additional Coverage:

Suzanne Simpson, a missing Texas mother of four, has been presumed dead, and her husband, Brad Simpson, has been charged with murder. Brad has been in jail for several offenses leading up to the murder charge.

The charge comes after investigators gathered evidence despite not finding Suzanne’s body. Brad’s brother expressed relief at the development, saying it allowed the family to grieve and focus on rebuilding their lives.

Suzanne disappeared in October after an alleged fight with Brad in a park. A neighbor witnessed the incident and reported hearing screams. Brad’s youngest daughter also reported her father’s violence towards her mother.

James Cotter, Brad’s friend, faces charges related to hiding Brad’s gun after receiving suspicious texts from him. Brad’s attorney previously denied the allegations against him, but has not commented on the murder charge.

Brad’s arraignment is scheduled for November 13. The arrest affidavit remains sealed for 30 days.
