A veterinarian and three trainers at Penn National in Grantville, Pa., have been summarily suspended by the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission as part of an ongoing investigation triggered after the veterinarian was seen by security personnel injecting a horse inside of the mandatory cutoff date set by Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority regulations.
