Jurors also found true allegations of kidnapping, multiple victims and the use of a knife, the DA’s office said.

The trial came after DNA on rape kits and clothing of the victims led investigators to use “Investigative Genetic Genealogy” to track down Simien and he was arrested in November of 2021 .

The attacks happened between December 2013 and March 2014.

Two of the three attacks occurred near the clover leaf interchange of Madison Avenue and I-80, just east of Sacramento McClellan Airport.
