BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – With winter just around the corner, Kentucky’s road crews are gearing up for the challenges that winter weather may bring. “We don’t wait till the last minute to prepare for winter,” said Wes Watt, Public Information Officer for KYTC District 3. “We are preparing all off-season, that means we have snow and ice teams who are meeting to look at what has worked for us in the past, what worked, and what didn’t work for us. So we are always trying to improve on the previous year.”
