GEORGETOWN – Hundreds of Delawareans gathered at the Circle in Georgetown to celebrate Return Day on Thursday.
It’s a holiday that comes two days after the general election, where results of statewide and local races are read from the town crier atop the Sussex County Courthouse.
Afterwards, county chairs from each political party participate in a ceremonial burying of the hatchet.
