ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – As Veterans Day is around the corner, Wylie West Elementary students kicked off their 2nd Graders Annual Program to sing along with them.
On November 7, students of Wylie West Elementary students joined the Wylie High School choir in their annual Veterans Day Program. A special standout portion of today’s program was during the singing of an Armed Forces Medley as the crowd as asked to stand as their military branch of military song was performed.
As expected the U.S. Air Force, not only had the most active-duty, and veterans standing. But also received a standing ovation from the crowd as they thanked the veterans for their service.
