On Saturday, Nov. 9, join ASU West for the 21st annual Veterans Day Weekend Traditional Pow Wow and Salute to Service.
The centerpiece of the event — the Pow Wow — is a traditional gathering of dancers, drummers, elders, and families. Celebrate Native American culture and honor our veterans with a day of sacred drumming, dancing, and singing.
Guests can browse and purchase handmade art from Native-owned businesses and non-profits while enjoying live music and food trucks on-site.
This free event is open to the public. The day-lone event schedule on Saturday is:
- 11:30 a.m. – Gourd Dance
- Noon – Salute to Service
- 1 p.m. – Grand Entry
- 6 p.m. – Gourd Dance
