INDIANAPOLIS – The grand opening of Indiana’s first L.L. Bean store is just a week away.
Officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, at Rivers Edge shopping plaza located at 4030 E. 82nd St. in Indianapolis. A grand opening celebration will follow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Guests will find a number of family-oriented activities and giveaways plus a “boot lace customization bar, family games, a trail mix bar and photos with the iconic L.L.Bean Bootmobile,” according to the company.
The Bootmobile, by the way, rolls into Indianapolis this weekend. The 13-foot-high, 20-foot-long, road-ready replica of an L.L. Bean boot debuted in 2012.
