On Nov. 11, we recognize the incredible service provided by our nation’s military. Veterans Day traces its beginnings back to World War I and the first Armistice Day that followed the ending of hostilities in Europe. Separate from Memorial Day, which honors service members who gave their lives protecting America’s national security, Veterans Day pays tribute to all who have served our nation.
