DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A deadly multi-vehicle crash has part of the highway shut down at the 22/322 interchange with Interstate 81 in Dauphin County Friday evening.
A spokesperson for PennDOT said the crash that prompted the closure on Route 22 westbound at the ramp for I-81 northbound happened around 6 p.m.
At least one person is dead after the crash, PennDOT confirmed.

A driver was reportedly traveling in the lane to follow Route 22/322 and tried to switch to the I-81 ramp and crashed, the spokesperson said.
The closure is expected to be in place for four hours.
