NORTH TEXAS – Good evening! I love this camera shot from the BOA Plaza downtown, facing northeast. Finally, it feels perfect outside!
Overnight, temperatures should drop into the upper 40s to lower 50s, favoring the northwest. Dare I say, a bit chilly?!
By the afternoon, it will warm up nicely with drier air overhead.
Elsewhere, this storm in the Gulf has received few headlines, and for good reason. No major impacts are expected. A little excess moisture has hovered over the northern Gulf Coast, but that’s about it.
For us here at home, the next major weather-maker doesn’t arrive until more than a week from now.
7-Day Forecast: A weak cold front will pass through on Wednesday, bringing temperatures just barely above normal and reinforcing slightly drier air overhead.
This week looks perfect for planting cool-season rye grass or for scalping and aerating Bermuda lawns.
Enjoy the weekend!
