Police fatally shoot person in St. Paul

Police have fatally shot an individual in St. Paul .

The St. Paul Police Department says the shooting took place just after 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 “near the intersection of Bay Street and Watson Avenue.”

While few details were immediately available, the police say the person who was shot has died. No officers were injured in the incident.

The investigation will be handled by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, who are at the scene of the shooting.
