According to a recent permit filing, Kingfisher & Rye will soon move locations in Tacoma to 2705 6th Avenue.
“We will be able to discuss more information about Kingfisher & Rye once mid-December rolls around,” Michael Gruber, one of the brains behind the operation, told What Now Seattle .
The permit filing states that Kingfisher & Rye would move from 5602 S Lawrence Street in Tacoma. Crexi describes this property as a “well-situated 3,646 sq. foot two-story building located between I-5 and South Tacoma Way right on 56th St, 1,823 feet on both levels with an apartment on the top floor. The location was recently used as a bar with a manager’s residence upstairs, but it could easily be used for many purposes.”
The new location, 2705 6th Avenue, is listed as the Crown Bar’s home. Yelp does not currently mark the Crown Bar as closed. Visit Pierce County describes the Crown Bar as a place for “local fare + craft cocktails.”
Michael Gruber is listed to be behind multiple companies, according to Washington Company Search , alongside Kingfisher & Rye. One of those businesses is Faith & Freedom Ranch.
