On Friday, Montgomery County 4th District (4D) officers apprehended a juvenile male in Twinbrook after a foot chase, seizing a loaded gun, cash, and around 250 fentanyl pills. According to 4D Commander David Smith, “Yesterday, a team of 4th District specialized officers searched for and located a juvenile male wanted for other offenses in the Twinbrook area. After a foot pursuit, he was captured with a loaded gun, cash, and roughly 250 pressed fentanyl pills. The apprehension of armed individuals like this is difficult and dangerous work, but also important work. Fentanyl destroys lives and families, and the officers of 4D are committed to improving conditions. We also appreciate all of the members of our community who care and are equally committed to this cause.”
