ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockford Fire Department was dispatched to the 1300 block of South 6th Street for reports of a detached garage fire.
The first firefighters at the scene saw flames coming from the exterior of the garage. The blaze spread to the interior of the garage as well.
firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 10 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
