Wind Creek Hospitality has announced the much-anticipated opening of Wind Creek Chicago Southland on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. This state-of-the-art casino marks the initial phase of a larger integrated resort, set to be completed by spring 2025.
Spanning 70,000 square feet, the casino offers over 1,400 slot machines, 56 table games, high-limit areas, a poker room, and an exciting sportsbook. Four exclusive “Hidden Gems” are designed for personalized gaming experiences, redefining entertainment and hospitality in the Southland area.

The casino expects to generate more than 1,000 full-time jobs across diverse roles, from security to IT and food services. Additionally, gambling revenue will support Homewood, East Hazel Crest, and 42 other south suburban communities, providing essential funding for local services.
