On my recent visit to Portland, I stumbled upon a pizza spot that redefines what great pizza should be. Touted by locals as one of the city’s finest, it didn’t take long to see why this place is making waves on the national scene. Every aspect of the experience showcased a dedication to the craft of pizza-making.
The attention to detail in preparing their pies is truly impressive. From the very first bite, you can taste the care that goes into each slice. The crust is a masterpiece—perfectly baked with just the right balance of crispness and chewiness, and packed with a depth of flavor that makes it irresistible. Every bite is a delight, right down to the crust, which I savored alongside Mike’s Hot Honey—a pairing that took the flavor experience to another level.
I chose a half-and-half pie, with meatball on one side and pepperoni and pineapple on the other. The meatball was rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned, blending beautifully with the sauce and cheese. On the flip side, the pepperoni and pineapple combination was a delightful mix of sweet and salty, with the tangy pineapple adding a refreshing contrast to the slightly crispy pepperoni.
