After missing the previous four games due to a calf injury he suffered in Week 4 against the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons made his highly-anticipated return to the field in Week 10. However, the results weren’t pretty.
Mike McCarthy has led the Cowboys to their worst start since the 2020 season after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles 34-6 at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon. With Prescott potentially out for the rest of the season, things are starting to look pretty bleak for McCarthy and company.
The former Green Bay Packers coach has now found himself on the hot seat , although it seems unlikely Jerry Jones will make a coaching change until after the season.
Following the game, Parsons seemingly discussed the possibility of his coach departing from the franchise, admitting that McCarthy isn’t necessarily his top concern this year.
“Mike can leave and go wherever he wants,” Parsons said. “Guys I kind of feel bad for (are) guys like Zack Martin and guys who might be on their last year or on their way out. Because that’s who I wanted to hold the trophy for. You want to win games and do great things with those type of legends who put in more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did. Those are the kind of guys that I have so much sympathy and hurt for.”
