The Columbia City Council agenda for Nov. 19 includes a second reading of a proposed parking rate hike. Parking rates would increase to from $0.75 to $2 per hour in the city’s busiest areas, such as Main Street, Five Points and the Vista. Hours of enforcement would expand to 9-7 Monday-Friday, and Saturday enforcement could also be added.
