Do you know her? Police seek ID of woman killed in hit-and-run crash

DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police and the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office are trying to identify a woman apparently killed in a hit-and-run crash on Nov. 4.

The Aurora Police Department said the woman was a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the early morning hours of Nov. 4 near the intersection of East Mississippi Avenue and South Elkhart Street in Aurora. The intersection is between South Sable Boulevard and South Chambers Road, and east of Interstate 225.

The pedestrian was described as an Asian female, aged 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5 foot, 4 inches and weighing 137 pounds with a black buzz cut hairstyle.

She was carrying a lighter labeled “Coco,” which the agency said could be a clue to her name or an alias. The department also said she has numerous tattoos that could be helpful in identifying her and provided descriptions to that end:

  • A black outline of the Japanese “Yen” symbol under her left eye
  • A black skull in the shape of a spade on the front-central region of her neck
  • A black outline suspected to be the angel Cupid holding a firearm in the right hand
  • Black ying-yang symbol on the Bleft side of her neck
  • Black rose on her upper right arm
  • Black, suspected to be Chinese, lettering on her right arm
  • Black tattoo of the sun, moon and stars on the back of her left shoulder
