MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man and a 15-year-old were arrested this weekend after being connected to several auto burglaries in Arlington, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office .
On Saturday, patrol deputies responded to a series of auto burglaries and a motor vehicle theft in the Windsor Oak Subdivision.
Deputies were alerted that a 2022 Ford F-150 had been stolen overnight from a resident’s driveway and a total of 10 additional auto burglaries were confirmed in the surrounding area.

Through investigative efforts, BRAT (Burglary, Robbery, Auto Theft) detectives located the stolen vehicle in the area of Estes and Cottonwood in southeast Memphis.
In collaboration with detectives, patrol deputies and the SCSO K-9, 33-year-old Mardrakous Sugars was taken into custody without incident.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers recovered an AR-15 rifle, a bag containing cocaine and various items that had been stolen from vehicles in Arlington.
