Vote for Landmark Fine Homes boys high school athlete of the week for Nov. 3-9

The Oklahoman’s fall sport boys athletes of the week poll for Nov. 3-9 presented by Landmark Fine Homes is now live at oklahoman.com.

Last week’s winner was Mustang junior cross country runner Noah Thayer.

Voting is open until noon Saturday. Here are this week’s nominees:

Carter Dennis, So., Southwest Covenant cross country: He helped the Patriots place third in the team standings at the Class A state meet at Edmond Santa Fe. Dennis finished 10th individually as he completed the 5-kilometer run in 17 minutes, 40.8 seconds.

Jalen Davis, Jr., Deer Creek football: Davis scored the game-winning touchdown on a pass from quarterback Grady Adamson to seal Deer Creek’s comeback win over Mustang at home.

Kamran Donald, Sr., Norman football: The running back had a big night as Norman defeated Bixby 31-20, finishing with 22 carries for 223 yards and two scores.

Owen Eshelman, Sr., Norman North football: The senior quarterback scored six total touchdowns — four rushing, two passing — in Norman North’s 55-28 win over Edmond Santa Fe.
