A suspect is in custody after a weekend shooting at a Western North Carolina bar left one person dead.
The Rutherfordton Police Department responded around 1:45 Saturday morning to the Amendment 21 Pub and Grill on Main Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim later died after being transported to the hospital. The identity of the deceased has not been released, as of the time of this report.
The suspect 36 year old, Ricky Tyrone Camp was arrested and charged with murder. The incident remains under investigation.
