Fundraiser held Evansville Immigrant Welcome and Resource Center

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An International Soiree was held tonight in Evansville to raise money for the Immigrant Welcome and Resource Center.

The night was filled with food, music and performances. The resource center works to be an advocate for area immigrants.

The 2020 US census indicates there are nearly 6,000 immigrant residents in Vanderburgh County contributing more than $45 million in tax revenue.
