The weakening line of weather left meager rain totals as it traversed the Pine Belt, yet every bit helps in reducing the growing drought conditions in the Gulf South. Radar-indicated rain totals as high as 4 to 6 inches were reported primarily in northeastern Louisiana along the Mississippi River over the past 48 hours.
