Person struck by train in the Bronx; No. 4 subway trains disrupted: MTA

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in the Bronx Monday morning, according to the MTA.

It happened at the Mount Eden Avenue station around 4 a.m., the FDNY said. The person was brought to St. Barnabas Hospital for their injuries.

Both northbound and southbound trains ran with delays after. No. 4 subway trains were running on the express track from 149th Street-Grand Concourse to 183rd Street.

The Nos. 4, 5 and 6 subway lines also experienced delays Monday morning due to the loss of third rail power near 125th Street, according to the MTA.
