Charleston Police respond to school bus crash on Morrison Dr

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A school bus crash is impacting traffic on the peninsula.

The Charleston Police Department responded to Morrison Drive near Isabella Street for a crash involving a school bus and a GMC truck. According to Charleston County dispatch, the incident happened around 7:51 a.m.

Four students were on the bus. The bus driver and three out of the four students were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Morrison Drive is still closed between Romney and Williman.
