BROCKTON — A Swampscott native, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy makes frequent trips back to southeastern Massachusetts for his One Bite Pizza Reviews series, a YouTube channel with more than 1.37 million subscribers as of October 2024.
In the popular series, Portnoy orders a large cheese pizza from restaurants across the nation, giving them a rating out of 10.
The first One Bite Pizza Reviews video Portnoy produced was in 2013 at Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton. Since then, Portnoy has reviewed pizza restaurants in Brockton, Bridgewater, Stoughton and Easton, among others.
