St. Louis Park 28-year-old fatally struck by driver in Hopkins

A St. Louis Park man was killed when he was hit by a driver in Hopkins on Saturday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of a Toyota Camry was traveling east on Highway 7 at around 9:25 p.m. when they struck a pedestrian who was in the lanes of traffic near 12th Ave.

The pedestrian, a yet-to-be-identified 28-year-old St. Louis Park man, was killed in the crash. Authorities are expected to reveal his identity on Monday afternoon.

The driver of the Camry, identified as a 23-year-old St. Louis Park woman, was uninjured.
