HOUSTON ( KIAH ) — A man was found dead near the Southwest Freeway last night near Windswept Lane after being hit by a car.
Houston police arrived on the scene around 8 p.m. and learned that the driver hit the victim, then stopped and waited for officers to arrive.
According to police, the pedestrian was walking in an ‘unprotected’ area when he was hit.

The driver is cooperating with the police, but as of now, no charges are being filed.
