Spanish Fort is splashing millions into parks and recreation, transforming local spaces for families, athletes, and furry friends alike.

From new fields to waterfront trails, this little city is going all in.

Integrity Park on Jimmy Faulkner Boulevard, for instance, is wrapping up a major expansion that’s both under budget and ahead of schedule — a rare combo that Mayor Mike McMillan is thrilled about.

“It doesn’t happen often, but we’ll take it when we can,” he said with a laugh.

Integrity Park’s latest $5 million phase adds two new soccer fields, one specifically for competitions.

Night games? No problem.

They’ve added lights to a third field, so three fields are ready to shine after dark. Plus, new outdoor basketball courts and extra parking make it easier for everyone to join in the fun.
